High performance .500″ diameter boost valve and bushing kit for applications requiring a faster line pressure boost curve and increased max line pressure
Features:
- Increases pressure rise response for use in trucks, police, taxis, delivery vehicles and high performance applications
- Replaces both early 1.910 (long) and late 1.810 (short) bushing and valves (fits both types)
Corrects/Prevents/Reduces:
- Reduces 3-4 clutch failure
- Band failure
- Low reverse clutch slip
Note that up to March 2005 the kit can be installed in the vehicle. However, in March 2005, General Motors gradually started adding an input speed sensor in this transmission which inhibits access to the boost valve assembly. On those with the added input speed sensor, transmission removal is necessary to access the boost valve.
