The patented solution for slow-burn UD clutch failure in 2019-on 68RFE
Underdrive clutch failure has become a common complaint in 2019-on 68RFEs, especially when increased line pressure from external tuning interacts with Chrysler’s latest computer strategy. This added pressure can cause the UD clutch to apply (momentarily while in overdrive), leading to slow-burn failures that often seem unexplained.
Our patented underdrive accumulator system eliminates this issue. A calibrated progressive spring stack absorbs UD clutch pulsing, even under elevated line pressure, making it fully compatible with either stock calibrations or tuned trucks (current and future).
The kit also includes all the proven pump fixes and unit upgrades from the SK®45RFE, offering a complete, no-compromise solution to protect your rebuild from comebacks now and in the future.
